CHS Parents and Players - Baseball Etiquette
Released on: 2/21/2010 9:06:19 PM

At the urging of Coach Howard, the CHS Booster Club would like to remind you of baseball etiquette at Randy Jordan Field. We expect to have a fun and safe 2013 season while also preserving our field and complex.

The Field: Out of respect and safety, only coaches and players are allowed on the field. Unless approved by Coach Howard, parents and children are to remain off the field and behind the fence at all times.

The Batting Cage: The batting cages are not a playground, therefore, no children are allowed in the batting cages during practice or games. During games, the batting cage is closed.

The Press Box: The Press Box is off limits unless you are keeping the scoreboard, announcing or handling the music selections.

The Press Box Deck: The Press Box Deck is off limits to all persons except alumni, special guests and CHS players filming games.

The Concession Stand: During the games only concession stand workers are allowed in the concession stand. During games, children under 16 are not allowed in the concession stand. Concession Stand schedules are posted on the Website (Bottom of the Booster Club Page), with opening and closing procedures. If you cannot work your assigned date/game, it is your responsibility to swap with another parent. Pre-Paid acounts should be checked weekly to insure players have money in their account. No charges will be allowed. The Concession Stand Contact is Judy Draws.

Outside The Field Grounds: After each game, it is the responsibility of ALL parents to clean the stands, bathrooms, the grassy area next to the road and to empty trash cans.

There is a rich tradition and pride in our CHS Baseball Complex. Please do not abuse or ignore the privilege of enjoying such an outstanding complex. Being respectful of the coaches, players, fans and the complex is an affirming sign that you recognize the tireless work and efforts that others have done.

Thank You - THE CHS BOOSTER CLUB
